Day by Day, Inhale Exhale

Spotlight on Magenta and Technique Junkies Stamps

Well hello and welcome back to Treasures in Letters. Although I have been quiet on my blog, I have been very busy making cards. I’m someone who enjoys making cards so much more than writing about them ;). Now that I have a bunch of cards I will begin the process of sharing them all with you and in Virginia Lu’s Show and Share.

So today’s card was made for a friend who is going thru a tough time. I wanted to encourage her and let her know that I care about her. It features a stamp from the company Magenta (I believe they are located in Canada), Technique Junkies (the sentiment), and a Scripture sentiment on the inside, from the formerly, Our Daily Bread Stamps.

The watercolor effect on the card was made using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

Supplies: Tim Holtz Distress Markers: Gathered Twigs, Tea Dye, Pine Needles, Forest Moss, Twisted Citron; Magenta Stamp C-0747-M, Technique Junkies Day by Day, Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink, Altenew Crystal Clear Embossing Powder, Canson Watercolor card stock, black card stock, craft cardstock, Our Daily Bread Scripture Collection 3, Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #110 card stock.

Welcome and Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. To give you a little background about myself, I am a Christian, have been married for 33 years to my wonderful husband and I have two beautiful, adult, married daughters who are dear to me. I love to craft and find it relaxing, challenging, and a way to express a deep desire to create and make things with my hands. In the past my greatest joys in creating came from cross-stitching and sewing (I was a design major in college). But now I find it in paper-crafting, more specifically in card making. My other passions are bike riding, weight training, chocolate, and ice cream.
