Welcome back to Treasures in Letters, thank you for stopping by. Today I am sharing with you my second-runner up choice for the AECP Blog Hop that I participated in last Friday….so much fun!! And throughout this week I will show you some of the other cards I made on my journey to get to my final choice.
Here is my card for today. To make my card I used Altenew Warp Speed Stencil and dry embossed it in Vellum.

To make this card I heat embossed 1 full-head dandelion and 3 half-head dandelions with Versamark ink and WOW Superfine White Pearl Embossing Powder (on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #80 card stock). I stamped the stems using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen. I stamped the seed pods in Lava Rock.
I wrapped the vellum panel around a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ light gray card stock and used a tape roller to glue in place (in the back). I arranged my dandelions and taped down the full-head dandelion but used foam tape on the half-head dandelions. I used a touch of liquid glue on each of the vellum wisps to glue them down. I adhered the gray/vellum card front to craft foam then onto a deep green 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ card stock, adhering the card front to a #110 Neenah Solar White Classic Crest card base. I heat embossed my sentiment onto deep green card stock using Altenew Pure White Embossing Powder.
The supplies I used for my card are: Altenew Warp Speed Stencil, Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen, Lava Rock, Morning Frost; Altenew Translucent Pearl Embossing Powder, Altenew Pure White Embossing Powder, Altenew Build-A-Flower Chrysanthemum Stamp Set, Altenew Tulip Stamp Set, Vellum, Deep Green card stock, Versamark, WOW Super fine White Pearl Embosssing Powder, Craft Foam, and Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #80, #110 card stock.
