Today I am highlighting a couple of cards that I made using a background that I created months ago and didn’t know what to do with it so I put it in my “stash”….the box you keep your practices, mistakes, and “I really like this but I don’t know what to do with it” stuff.
The rich beautiful colors were created with Nuvo Shimmer Powders.
The supplies for this card are: Black card stock, Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #80, #110 card stock, Nuvo Shimmer Powders: Atlantis Burst, Blue Blitz, Cherry Bomb; My Favorite Things Stamps Bold Beautiful Die, Neat & Tangled So Many Sentiments Stamp, Altenew Pure White Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink, and foam tape.
The lettering for this card came from the outline of my first card.
The supplies for this card are the same (as my first card) with the addition of Simon Says Stamps Wonky Rectangle Dies and Altenew Hibiscus Bouquet Die Set (for the sentiment).
Welcome and Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. To give you a little background about myself, I am a Christian, have been married for 33 years to my wonderful husband and I have two beautiful, adult, married daughters who are dear to me. I love to craft and find it relaxing, challenging, and a way to express a deep desire to create and make things with my hands. In the past my greatest joys in creating came from cross-stitching and sewing (I was a design major in college). But now I find it in paper-crafting, more specifically in card making. My other passions are bike riding, weight training, chocolate, and ice cream.

Very nice. I have boxes of ‘stash’ at my place, It’s amazing what you can create when you need or want to. I made Christmas Cards 2018 without having to go shopping.
