Looking Back to Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving Day card was created on craft cardstock, which appeared more tan-colored then it does in the photo.

The following is a list of the materials that I used to create this card. (I am not linking these supplies to the retailers today.) I used Ranger, Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and a mini foam applicator to distress the sides of the craft cardstock and I used Prisma Colored pencils to deepen the color of the veins on the leaves.

Sugar Pea Designs Pine Cone Greetings Stamp & Die Set; Sugar Pea Designs Funky Wreath All Seasons Stamp & Die Set; My Favorite Things Stitched Beautiful Bows Die Set; My Favorite Things Whimsical Woodgrain Stamp; Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Sand Dunes, Honey Drizzle, Autumn Blaze, Sunkissed, Ruby Red, Evergreen, Olive, Espresso, Mocha and Parrot; Prisma Colored Pencils: Marine Green, Raspberry, Mineral Orange; Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy Add-on Stamps & Dies, Versamark ink, Craft cardstock, Ranger Distress Oxide ink – Vintage Photo, Nuvo Drops -Red, and Orange cardstock.

Welcome and Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. To give you a little background about myself, I am a Christian, have been married for 33 years to my wonderful husband and I have two beautiful, adult, married daughters who are dear to me. I love to craft and find it relaxing, challenging, and a way to express a deep desire to create and make things with my hands. In the past my greatest joys in creating came from cross-stitching and sewing (I was a design major in college). But now I find it in paper-crafting, more specifically in card making. My other passions are bike riding, weight training, chocolate, and ice cream.
