It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

A couple of weeks ago I bought Altenew’s new Starry Night and Holiday Bow Stamp & Die Sets. I am really enjoying both of them and have a few cards today highlighting those sets.

This is the first card I want to share with you.  Here are the materials I used to make my card. The links are to the retailer’s website but not to the specific product.

Altenew Holiday Bow Stamp & Die Set, Altenew Starry Night Stamp Set, Versamark Ink, Ranger Silver and Gold Embossing Powders, Nuvo Crystal Drops in colors: Dandelion Yellow, Woodland Green, Red Berry, Caribbean Ocean, Blue Lagoon (Glitter Drops), Glitter Card Stock, Vellum, Navy Blue Card Stock, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White #80 and #110, Hero Arts Shadow Ink Pale Tomato Mid-tone, Umbrella Crafts Ruby Red, Fun Stampers Journey True Color Fusion Cranberry Bliss, David Tutera sequins & rhinestones, and clear sequins.

My next card is so pretty in person because you can see the irridescent embossing powder in the background so much nicer than in the picture and it really adds sparkle and texture.

Altenew Holiday Bow Stamp & Die Set, Altenew Starry Night Stamp, Altenew Crisp Die Inks: Forest Glades, Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry, Espresso, Olive, Moss, Warm Sunshine, Black Gel Pen, Versamark Ink, Ranger Holographic Embossing Powder, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White card stock #80, and #110.

My last card is so pretty in person. I absolutely love the new Avery Elle Beautiful Bow Stamp Set. It is simply gorgeous when stamped on vellum and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I am already playing around with new designs using it. 🙂

Altenew Starry Night Stamp & Die Set, Avery Elle Beautiful Bow Stamp Set, Ranger Gold Embossing Powder, Umbrella Crafts White Pigment Ink, Vellum, Craft Smith Gold Noir Paper Pad (12×12) found at Michael’s craft store, Craft Smith Say Freeze Paper Pad (6×6) found at Michael’s craft store, Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Card Stock #80, #110, Stampendous Clear Detail Embossing Powder.

When making this card I did not have enough matte finished gold card stock so I used a piece of 12×12 card stock that was a white and gold stripe. I cut the gold stripes out of it to use as a trim on my card. If you have gold card stock then you do not need the paper pad that I listed.

Welcome and Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. To give you a little background about myself, I am a Christian, have been married for 33 years to my wonderful husband and I have two beautiful, adult, married daughters who are dear to me. I love to craft and find it relaxing, challenging, and a way to express a deep desire to create and make things with my hands. In the past my greatest joys in creating came from cross-stitching and sewing (I was a design major in college). But now I find it in paper-crafting, more specifically in card making. My other passions are bike riding, weight training, chocolate, and ice cream.
